A macOS app · Built on tw93/Mole
Built on tw93/Mole. Same engine, same safety — with a window.
Why
mo, in a window.
tw93/Mole — a macOS deep-cleaner. Caches, Xcode, npm, logs, Trash. One binary. MIT.
But it lives in the terminal.
Mole UI calls the same mo. Adds a window.
Same engine
Your system mo, wrapped.
Same safety
Path validation. Protected rules. Explicit confirmation.
New surface
Treemap. Preview. Trash-safe. Undo.
How it works
Scan via mo --dry-run. Delete via Rust trash::delete. Nothing moves without preview.
Step 01
Install tw93/Mole first (the app detects it on your PATH), then drop Mole-UI.app into /Applications.
Step 02
Launch a module. Mole UI runs mo <cmd> --dry-run under the hood — nothing is touched yet.
Step 03
Preview every path. Select what goes. One click moves them to Trash. Undo from the activity log.
What's inside
Five of mo's subcommands, in the UI. purge, installer, touchid stay CLI-only for now.
$ mo status Real-time CPU, GPU, memory, disk, and network stats with a rolled-up health score.
$ mo clean User + browser + developer + app-specific caches, system logs, Trash. Plus leftovers from already-uninstalled apps.
$ mo optimize Rebuild system databases. Reset network. Refresh Finder & Dock. Rebuild launch services + Spotlight.
$ mo analyze Visual disk explorer. Rendered as a treemap in the UI, bar list in the CLI. Drill in, inspect, trash.
$ mo uninstall App + Application Support, Caches, Preferences, Logs, WebKit storage, Cookies, Launch daemons.
Specs
